Heading Back to the Dr

Austin has had a fever since Friday, he isn't really eating, not sleeping and just an all around cranky baby. On Sat his fever spiked to 102, but has usually been hovering around 100.8.

Ugh I hope it is nothing serious. This morning when I got him up it was 101.7.... Man it is always something, my poor baby cant get a break. I was really hoping that his second year was gonna be a good one!

I'm sorry Nicole - hope it's nothing and that he feels better soon!

I think some kids are just prone to higher temps - I remember my youngest brother having fevers spiking as high as 104 when he was a kid and *never* had any serious problems associated with it. I know for me 102 wasn't uncommon when I was sick (although at my current age 100 feels pretty bad - something changed!).

I am so sorry! I know how stressful and awful it is when your kid is sick all the time. I think Rowen was sick his entire 2nd year of life. If its not one thing its another. On a positive note I think he got most of it out of his system since then and while we still have issues with allergies, severe constipation, and awful nose bleeds he never seems to get sick anymore. Maybe he's just building up his immune system now. Hope he feels better soon!
