Infantino Wrap And Tie Users

A friend gave me a trash bag full of hand me downs for our LO. In that trash bag was a gently used recalled Infantino sling. I had thought to just throw it out, but I went to the website to make sure it was in fact a recalled item. Yup, it was. But wait! I can return a portion of the sling along with a little form and get a new, safe BWing device!

So that's just what I did. I returned the embroidered logo and inner tag with the UPC code and selected the Infantino Wrap & Tie as my desired replacement option.

Does anyone have this wrap? How do you like it? It says it can hold 8-35lbs. I can't wait to wear my baby! (And I'm super excited I got a safer wrap for free!)

I like it. But don't do the forward carry with it.

    Ditto!

  • I like it, but I am putting it up for sale cause I have a lot of other carriers and don't use it. I will probably get a babyhawk later on, but it is a good carrier. I wouldn't recommend facing out though as PP's said.

  • I did the same thing with my sling. I love the wrap and tie. It took me a few months until he was big enough to feel comfortable using it. I think that it is so comfortable and easy to use. My only complaint is that the black one picks up sooo much hair and lint, which drives me mad.

  • eb haaaated it for months. i think it was too much fabric around her face. i even folded up the bottom like someone on here suggested to make it shorter, but no go. she screamed and fought it. recently we had a mega heat wave and i was concerned that even my lightest-weight wrap would be too hot for the few times we needed to go out in it. so i dug out the wrap&tie with fingers crossed :) this time around she really seems to like it. i do still have to fold it, it`s too high for her, but it`s very cool and comfortable.

I have this, too. How come it's not recommend for facing out?

Crotch-dangling, same reason that most people don't rec' the Bjorn - but if it works for you, go for it.  I also didn't feel like that little piece of cloth with the velcro was the most secure way of securing DS front-facing.
