DS has been super whiney lately. He is also starting to get upset when he doesn't get his way, etc... although I wouldn't call them "tantrums" just yet. I pressume it's just the age but was just curious what your 15 mo old is like.
DD started getting whiney and kinda tantrum-y at about 14 months. Last month we had a good solid 2 weeks where she was fall out on the floor screaming her head off tantrum-y. It was sheer hell. now she will fuss/cry for a few minutes after we tell her no or redirect her and then she realizes she isn't getting her way and moves on. Or tries to get her way sneakily, depending on what it is. LOL It is getting much better now that she is picking up on communication and language better, but we still have our moments/days.
Needless to say, I think it's normal and just another part of their development.
Yes. DS gets upset when we make him come inside (he loves being outdoors). He gets upset when we take something away from him he shouldn't have. He gets upset when I brush his teeth (he wants to hold the toothbrush). He gets upset when I make him wait 2 minutes for his food to cool off. He gets upset when I wake him up in the morning at 7am...etc, etc.
It's normal IMO. Otherwise he's completely happy and smiley! Just being a toddler.
