Hostess Gifts for Mom

I'm having my shower this weekend and my mom is hosting it.  I wanted to get her something but don't know what.  I was thinking a "grandma" bag with some goodies that she can keep at her house... but like what?  Is that really something she'll want, or should I just do flowers or gift cert or something?  Thoughts/ideas.  TIA!

    What about a brag book? I know that my mother wants one to carry around in her purse. Just a thought :)

    Is the grandma bag things for the baby? Because I would do something nice for her. Something that she will use and like.

     This was my idea.  They sell cheaper ones at Hallmark to put in a bag with other goodies, or you can get a Coach or Kate Spade one.

    My Mom & MIL are hosting a party for us. We got them books to keep at their house for the baby (really mushy ones that they'll love reading to him- On the Night You Were Born and Snuggle Puppy (my mom's a dog nut). But then we also got them gift certificates to a restaurant & a gold charm for each, my mom's says "Grandma" and mil's says "Grammie" they were both engraved on a little heart charm.
