My oldest DS has one and our pedi is just watching it right now because sometimes they correct themselves. All you do is pull his skin back at diaper changes and put vaseline there. Your LO is young enough that this should correct it.

My DS definitely has them and I thinking they are beyond the point of just pulling them apart in the doctor office. We have an appointment with the urologist tomorrow. I've just been pulling back the the skin after every diaper change and putting on A&D ointment so it hopefully won't get any worse. I noticed when I pulled it back to clean it (didn't do it very often because I was told I didn't need to) and the skin was like grown over so I couldn't see the ridge of the head. I read that he may have to get surgery to have it seperated and then they will remove any excess foreskin to prevent it from happening again. I'm pretty stressed about it but I hope to know more after the appointment tomorrow! Good luck!

We just asked our pedi about this today as well. He said continue to pull the skin back at diaper changes. The baby fat in the area will diminish around 2 yo & it should be better. If there are any adhesions, they should break on their own by the time the child is around 8 yo.
I have a very chunky DS and he has had them a few times. We put vasoline on it twice a day. I am constantly pulling back his fat pad to check and make sure it hasn't started again. All I do when I notice it is slightly pull againts both sides of the skin and it seems to peel apart. Looks a little red for about a day and then is fine.

I posted about this last week. There are helpful responses despite the craziness from the troll!
