  I have this problem too. Sometimes I wash them and the lap pads separately on a hotter longer cycle. If I don't get them clean, they make my dryer smell like spit-up!

  I use 7th Gen F&C.

  I'm not sure what you use for burp cloths, if they're color or not. We use the Gerber cloth diapers for burp cloths. Obviously those are all white, so I just bleach them.

  I was going to say bleach them too. If they are colored try the color safe bleach.

  I had to giggle at master spitter upper - DS is one too.  

  We bleach them when needed...and use All F&C otherwise.  I HATE the smell of spit up.
