Cloth Diapering

Diaper Trial and detergent question

So after reading many of your opinions yesterday and in previous post about the best diapers I think we will definitely do a trial. Jillians drawers sends you 11 diapers for 145 and they are all brand new and are various types and brands. I think this is the trial we will go with but I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it or had any feedback? Is this a good deal? Also I am at a lost on detergent I have read I can use regular detergents like all free and clear and tide but then in other places seen that I shouldn't? Please help! Thanks!

Re: Diaper Trial and detergent question

  • Jillian's Drawers also sells a sample pack of CD safe detergents that you can order with the trial that should last you through all the washes during the trial.  It sounds like it is a good idea because you get to try multiple detergents and they are all CD safe.

    oh - I didn't know that!

To OP: I am also doing Jillian Drawers trial for newborns - only thing is that because there are so few diapers, we will have to do laundry every night :(

  • I am new to this board and expecting our first in about 3 weeks, but we are planning on using cloth diapers too.. Where we got our diapers suggested we use CountrySave.. Just thought I would share that info.. = )
