Late to the Sophie party

For those that have LO's teething, does it really soothe them?

My LO is getting his first tooth and doesn't seem to like the teething rings. He loves to suck/chew on clothes and burp rags, and this one toy on his exersaucer.

So we are thinking about giving in and getting Sophie. Was it a success or failure with your LO?

It is a teething toy that is shapped like a giraffe. Matthew loves his and chomps on it all the time.

This is so true, but worth every penny. When Sarah sees her Sophie, she grins like crazy and starts kicking and reaching for her immediately. Her favorite part is the nose and the nubs on the head.
