Feeling Crampy :-(

I have had some menstrual like cramping today. I feel a little better when I lay down, but it is still annoying. I don't think it is bad enough to call the doctor, but I still wonder what is up. I have been drinking plenty of water, so that can't be the cause. If it keeps up tomorrow I might call the doctor, but for now I just want to complain.

  • It could be BH. But if it keeps up into tomorrow I'd definitely call the doc, just to be on the safe side.

  • I have actually been crampy all day today as well...maybe is just this part of pregnancy.

  • If you can time them and there are more than 4-6 an hour, then you should call just to get checked out. Do you feel tightness in your belly too?

Also, I thought I had been drinking plenty of water. 64oz or more a day. But I've been to OB triage twice now with consistent contractions just due to dehydration.

  • I had the exact same thing last Monday night to Tuesday morning...luckily I had a MW appt that morning. She checked my urine for UTI and cervex both were fine but I was put on pelvic rest for a few weeks just in case. Have you and your H had sex recently? H and did it the day before I felt crampy but I'm hoping that's not what made me feel them.

I hope everything gets better but definately call in the morning if you still feel crampy.

  • Nope, no sex recently so that can't be it. I have had pelvic pressure since I was 19 weeks, but they didn't have any idea why it happens and pretty much dismissed it as normal pregnancy stuff or irritable uterus. I walked a little on Friday and it was acting up then, but not sure about today. I don't feel like there are any type of contractions or anything, it's more of a constant feeling.

  • I have also been feeling really crampy. I went for a walk with my husband and our dog and after about ten minutes I get really sore and crampy. I was happy we weren't far and I could come back home and my husband made a cozy spot on the couch for me to rest. After a while the cramping went away, but I'm not liking how this happens when I'm walking around.

Yeah it sucks! But I am glad I am not suffering alone. I haven't been able to walk a lot since 19 weeks due to the pressure and it is not cool. I miss working out, but right now my body just won't let me do it. It is so hard for me because I was very active and a runner before I got pregnant. It's all worth it though!
