Baseline u/s and b/w question

So my body couldn't cooperate and get AF this weekend so I can try to fit in my baseline b/w and u/s tomorrow on my day off, now could it? Ugh I think its coming, I'm spotting and am getting some cramps. However, if AF comes tonight or tomorrow morning, do they really like to do that on CD1? I mean I think they said call on CD1 and try to get in on CD2, maybe 3 or does it not really matter?

    I'm not 100% sure of the answer, but I think maybe you could.  I don't think CD1 is super important if you were on BCPs.  Are you done with them?  Or is this in anticipation of starting them?  (Sorry, I'm flaking on where exactly you are in your cycle!)

    For my cycle, I was told when to stop BCPs and given a date to come in for my u/s regardless of whether I got AF or not.  I was jus supposed to call when I did and that was it.

    I'm not sure if it matters for the bloodwork but I've definitely had u/s on CD1.  GL that AF will come soon so that you can do what you need to on your day off.

    Haha :)  Ah, OK.  Well I hope they can accommodate you!  That would definitely make it easier than having to adjust around work.

    I had my baseline u/s and bloodwork on CD 1 for this IVF cycle.  My RE is fine with doing it CD 1, 2, or 3, and CD 1 happened to be on a Friday, so it was easier for them to do it then.

    My RE wanted my u/s on with CD 2 or CD 3...I didn't have to do any bloodwork.  I will do blood work when I have AF after BCP.

    I was told that you can have your baseline US and BW done on either CD 2 or 3.

    I hope AF cooperates for you so you can have your tests done.

    June/July 2011 - IVF #1 - Transfer cancelled due to OHSS
    23 perfect embryos. All 23 made it to freezing!
    September/October - FET #1 - October 12th - 2 Grade A embies
    October 20th - BFP??! EDD - July 1, 2012

    Hi Lyse!

    I had mine on CD 3, even though I called on CD1. If you are on Lupron, the day doesn't matter as much as if you aren't on it. Either way, up to day 3 is normal. I can't remember if you are taking Lupron or not :)
