So last time I was on Bravelle - really no major side effects I can recall aside from frequent sobbing breakdowns - Clomid --- grrrrr, that stuff's a whole different story.
So FF to this go around, and I'm on Follistim - same thing, I get kinda weepy - like I'll have good days/bad days - but I've got serious bump/zits on my forehead - like straight outta highschool!!
Anyone else have this? I mean if this keeps up....I'm not sure how hot pictures of Follistim induced back-ne are gonna look in the new baby's baby book! ![]()
Re: Follistim = Acne from the teenage years? Anyone?
I can't speak for Follistim, but I am taking Gonal-F now and boy did my face break out. I have tried every OTC acne medication, nothing is working. Great..now I feel bloated and have acne all over. Good times!

Expecting twin boys!!!!!
I suppose the upside is that we're at the relationship stage of trying to get knocked up, not trying to pick up guys and find mr right, DH's can deal with our hormonal hottness!
Ya know what's weird, I stimmed for 2 weeks then IUI, I figured during that 2nd two week window (TWW) the insanity that has become my face would work down to a simmer....not so much, and now I'm stimming again it's getting worse.
Oh well - it WILL be worth it! (this is my meager attempt at positive thinking haha)
For me it starts with just a zit or two while stimming, but in the 2ww with the prog. it goes CRAZY!! My entire chin is broken out. Nothing helps and as soon as AF comes it completly goes away. So not fair. Good thing I am having IUI's cause I don't think DH would be to interested in looking at this. lol.
OK - for sure I'm so excited not to be dealing with such uber-hotness all by myself!
I hadn't even thought of the progesterone - I take that during the TWW also.
Good times Ladies, good times!~
