I should have never let my husband drive! (TMI)

I knew it was a bad idea when I got in the passenger's side of the car this morning to go eat breakfast at cracker barrel!  I have always been kinda queasy in the car, but since I've been preg it's a hundred times worse!  I've been doing okay lately with my M/S and I'm 14 weeks today so I thought I would be fine in the passenger's seat... WRONG!  As soon as he pulled in the parking lot I screamed for him to pull over and I threw the door open.  It was like a scence from the exorcist!  I dont know if his car or the parking lot will ever be the same!  I could see the disappointment in his face because he thought we were going to have to come home and he wasnt going to get his beloved cracker barrel breakfast.  I grabbed some napkins from the glove box and wiped my face and said "OKAY!  Let's go!".  I did make him change parking spots though because I wasn't about to step out of the car into my own vomit!  On the up side... I did get to have their amazing carrot cake for breakfast!
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

I've never had motion sickness until I've gotten pregnant.  Now, it's crazy.  I'm so sorry, but glad you still got to eat.

  • I've always gotten car sick too!  Now DH just looks at me getting green and keeps asking if we need to pull over every 10 min when he's driving.  I've never been able to figure out why I don't get sick if I'm driving but if someone else is and we're going more than 15 min I can't help but feel terrible.
