You can use protection and still get pregnant. It is common knowledge that birth control isn't 100%. So maybe keep the holier than thou comments to yourself.

    I'm not judging her, I was simply asking if they don't want another baby, why they didn't use protection.  I know protection can fail, and if it did, all she has to do is say so!  I don't see why you're making such a big stink about it!

    Sorry ladies. I said it in that post but someone else said the same thing. I thought it was crappy to assume she was irresponsible even after I pointed out how rude it was. I'll back off. I just wanted to stick up for her on a rough birthday.

    um... all she did was ask why she didnt use protection. Which is what I was wondering as well. Its just as much an assumption that she was using protection as it is that she wasnt.

    "Then maybe you should have used protection" doesn't count as wondering if she used protection. You guys weren't saying anything productive to that woman. You were enjoying the drama yourself.

    Confused Then you could have just asked if they used protection. You assumed she didn't. That's why she's making something of your comment. At least it seems that way to me.
