how do I search the boards?

Ok...so I may look like a total idiot...but how the heck to I search the boards to see if my question has been asked before - or perhaps millions of times before?  I see a search area at the very bottom of the page but no matter what I type in there, it says no results.  Am I just not seeing something that is right in front of my face??

    I don't think the search function works properly.

    Yeah, the search function doesn't work, so just scan the last few pages & then ask if you don't see it.

    The Bump's search feature is (and has been) broken.  

    There's an "advanced search" option through Google.com. Type in your key words and at the bottom of the page, input "thebump.com" in the "Search within a site or domain".

    It works pretty well for me.
