Because I am laid up on bedrest I'm getting all the addresses together for birth announcements but now I need to pick one out. Where did you get yours from and do you recommend them?
Snapfish...love them! I did a 5x7 stationay card that was double sided. Great price and good quality. Make sure you search for coupons. Only thing I didn't like was that the envelopes say snapfish on the back, but not a huge deal since I loved the design of the cards.
i bought my birth announcements from our photographer who did the pictures when they were just a couple of weeks old. i love the photographer we use, www.bellababiesphotography.com.
however, i use www.tinyprints.com for everything else. christening, birthday invitations and thank yous. i love the quality of this online site and the prices are super reasonable. you can also find online promocodes to get discounts too.
I ordered from Tiny Prints and yes I would recommend them. We had the design and wording all complete so all I had to do after Alexandra was born was just to enter birth date, weight, etc. They can preship the envelopes so I had them all stamped and addressed in advance as well. If I hadn't done it that way, I may have never gotten them sent out
I used Tiny Prints too and I was happy with them. I looked at a lot of different sites before finally choosing one and I think they had a good price etc. I also bought some personalized note cards from there with DS's name on them to use as thank you notes.

good luck.
Ditto all the way around. I didn't start using Bellababies until Wyatt was 6 months old, but I have seen some of their birth announcements and they are really beautiful. We used tinyprints for our birth announcements and several other things and have always been very happy with them.
Through my fantabulous photographer KD Loftis and I got raves about the announcements. I concur that tiny prints is another great option but the ones from photographers are nicer - and her pricing was the the exact same as if I had bought from tiny prints.
Designed my own, uploaded, and printed. They were well-priced (I had a coupon code, and they discount for bulk orders). They also have already designed templates, and you can just drop in info.
I loved all of the cute themes (we did the surfing one) - I liked how they look like scrapbook pages, but it was all one piece and you can personalize how you want (doesn't necessarily have to say what they suggest) - they were on very sturdy cardstock.
I used the lady that did all of my wedding paper. But I've ordered from Tiny Prints and VistaPrint and been really happy. I prefer the linen finish from VistaPrint and they always have decent sales/coupon codes.
I liked it because she designed them for me for $15 and I had them printed at HEB on matte photo paper. I found a coupon code and it came out to like .10 per announcement. She has a lot to choose from, or you can ask her to design something for you.

I created mine myself and printed them on vista print.
I've bought cards from vista print before and have always been happy.
