April 2011 Moms

hi :)

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! I'm pregnant with my first child, I am estimating I'm about 11 weeks, which would make me due at the beginning of April 2011. I had my first midwife appointment yesterday and she is estimating I'm around 10-12 weeks, possibly closer to 12 weeks. My LMP is not accurate for dating, so I'm going for a dating ultrasound next Thursday. Can't wait! We did get to hear the heartbeat yesterday and that was just surreal! Been miserable with nausea and fatigue since week 6, really hoping the 2nd trimester will bring better times! Would love to hear how everyone else is doing :)

  • I am with you on hoping that 2nd tri brings better times lol!

I am doing ok. Some days better than others. Evenings are worse than mornings. I am also really tired. I haven't worked out in over a month. I feel like a blob. Stick out tongue

  • Hi and welcome! I guess I've been lucky in that I haven't experienced any m/s at all, only nausea, which is usually fixed by a little snacking, and fatigue. The fatigue has actually eased up. Now that I know the baby is healthy, I guess I'm not so worried anymore that I'm not having m/s. Yay!

Zofran didn't even help! Sure it might stop me from throwing up, but does nothing for the constant nausea. Actually, one time I threw up about 20 minutes after taking it. Ugh!

I hear ya there! Evenings tend to be worse for me too, but I figured it was because I work night shifts so the evening is like the morning for me. However, I've had the last couple nights off so I've been up early and nauseous. My house desperately needs to be cleaned and my dogs desperately need a walk, but all I can seem to do is lay on the couch or the bed or the chair.... ;)
