How many weeks old was LO when you took newborn pix?

We can't seem to find the right time. LO is 2 weeks and changing daily. I'd like to do them soon but not sure how to on LO's schedule (feeding, sleeping, etc).

We did it at 3 weeks. I wish we would have done it a little sooner, but with my recovery and adapting to a newborn it was just not going to happen.

We did them at 7 days and it was perfect timing IMO.

Everyone has told me to do them within the first 7-10 days. You want them in that super-sleepy stage where you can easily position them.

She was 6 days old. The photographer wanted to do it between 1-2 weeks. We went in, and I nursed DD until she was sleepy enough for photos.

LO was 5 days old in his newborn pics. They change so much so fast in those first few weeks, we wanted them early.

We did it at 8 days old. I was definitely a little stressed about it, but the photographers we used were awesome. They were totally prepared to wait if I needed to feed her or change her. She ended up sleeping through most of it. I say do it ASAP

This exactly. Plus, you want to so it before they get baby acne is what I was told. I would do them soon. :-)

we did our when he was 5 days old. Photographer wanted to do them within the 1st 10 days so that he was asleep most of the time

17 days. He was a little older than our photog recommended but he did great. Slept beautifully and was easy to pose. We did them in the late morning and took a break for a quick feeding. He went right back to sleep.
