Buying fall clothes?

Where are you buying your LO's fall clothes?  I need to get some this weekend and was thinking Gymboree, but not sure where else I should check out.

Re: Buying fall clothes?

  • Gymboree and Old Navy are having great sales on their baby clothes. I just ordered a ton from ON last night.

  • Gap, Old Navy, and Target

  • The majority off DD's wardrobe so far has been Carter's stuff, and I imagine that will hold true with fall this year as well. Between the coupons I get and their frequently-updated sales racks, its hard to beat their prices around here. :)
  • The Gap was having a pretty good sale when we went yesterday... we got DD a ton of things. I'm going to hit up Old Navy today when DD gets up from her nap. Target is another one of my favorite stores to shop at for her clothes.

We are going to go to Carters next week since it's about 45 min away and we're going to be in the area. I bought her some 24 month outfits but I'm thinking I need to exchange some for 18 months since her growth seems to have slowed down (and she's getting taller but not wider... she's no longer my chunky monkey :( )

We had to go ASAP since she only has 3 long sleeved shirts that fit her... we usually ease into fall gradually but it seems to be here already!  It's been quite chilly!

  • we are heading out to Old Navy, Target, Once Upon a child, & Walmart later today but I also plan on checking out the just between friends sales in our area
  • Gap, Old Navy, and Crazy 8. I wasn't impressed with Gymboree for boys this season.

  • I ordered a whole bunch of stuff from Kohls.com.
  • I'm hoping not to have to buy much, if anything for this fall.  DD still has a ton of stuff she got at our shower last year, and for Christmas last year.  I am planning on going thru her closet today just to see where we are at as far as outfits & pants.
  • I bought a ton last year on clearance (mostly Gymboree.)  I always buy a season ahead.  Add that to hand me downs, and all she needed were a couple of pairs of sweatpants and some leggings.  I got those at Target.

Don't you love buying aheaad?!? Then you get everything for waaaay chaeper plus you only have to go into LO's closet or the attic when the weather changes instead of running to the store! Between clearance racks, the 2nd hand store, and hand me downs I rarely have to do emergency shopping at the begining of a season!

  • The Children's Place is my absolute FAVORITE place for DS's clothes! The clothes wear well and are so much more inexpensive than Gymboree and even Target, Carters, etc... They always have a great sale going on!
  • My mom bought a bunch of Carter's stuff for us.  It's fine, but I probably wouldn't have bought it myself.  I got some things from our local consignment store, used a Gap gift certificate for a lot of stuff, got some things from Old Navy, went to the Gap Outlet today.  I think I'm done shopping for now.  I'll need to get a few extra things, but I'm going to wait to see exactly what we need.
