Anyone do oatmeal baths for diaper rash?

My mom suggested this. I guess it can't hurt right?

    I have done it, used Aveno (it was in a box in the baby section). To be honest I really do not think it helped. Naked time works best. If the rash does not go away you might want to call your pedi it could be a yeast infection (so no powder) and she/he can write you a Rx for it. I think with insurance the yeast cream cost 98 cents, lol cheaper than buying it off the shelf.

    we use the powder for J's eczema sometimes. When we do he goes on to sleep for almost 7 hours straight w/out waking up at night!!! I wish we could do it every night!!!!!

    yep we use the aveeno oatmeal bath...along with babypowder and petroleum jelly.  works great for us!
