TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Back from Dr. - CD11 update

I had one follie measuring 20 on the right side, the one on the left was 12.  So, she said I responded well to the 50mg Clomid, so we won't need to up the dosage.  BUT, she said my lining was a mere 3, to which she said she "doesn't have high hopes for me this cycle."  Ugh.  Great.  Also, she gave me prometrium to take this cycle days 14-21.  Not really sure why but whatevs.

So the plan for next cycle is to switch to Femara because it doesn't thin your lining as bad as Clomid, and then I'll take estrogen days 10-12.

  • That sucks about the thin lining, but it's great that at least your ovaries are responding!  If you don't get a happy surprise this cycle, hope your new plan gives you a nice, plush ute.  ;)

  • Clomid thinned out my lining a lot.  I hope this turns out to be a good cycle anyway!

  • Clomid also led me to a thin lining. I hope this cycle works for you but if it doesn't, at least there is a plan in place!
  • crap about the lining - the follie response is good though! I know POM supplements helped my lining, and during my IUIs I was prescribed estrace for the lining also. (the side effects were not so fun - the sorest bbs I've ever had) - but it worked with the lining.

  • Sorry about the lining.. that makes me wonder about taking Clomid too. I think we are at the same point in ttc. I remember you from when I first came on MCPL. It took me 6 months for my 1st BFP, and I had my D&C 1/19. I see you had yours 1/15 and I think it took you 6 months too. I hope we can both move on soon.

Yeah our dates are right around each other.  We came here right around the same time.  It actually only took us 2 cycles to get pg the first time around, so I totally thought I was a FH.  I never thought I would be in this situation 9 or 10 months later.  Hopefully, we can both move over to pgal very soon.
