Can we talk about toys? Toddler moms come in

What are your kids favorite toys? I am looking for 18mos and up age appropriate. I want to start looking on Craigslist and stores for Christmas gifts. We have the FP Laugh and Learn Home that they love and the spinning interaction pony. I want to start early and putting stuff away since I am buying for 3 kids. TIA!

    JR LOVES Thomas the Train stuff.  We got him a table and track around 18ish months and he still loves it.  We buy most of the track/train pieces on craigslist and save a TON.  You may not find anything right away, but people are always selling their Thomas stuff on there, I recommend going with the classic wooden pieces as opposed to plastic.

    They love love LOVE Mega Blocks now that they've figured out how to really build things.  Cars are a big hit in this house too.  Books books and more books.  They like to sit in their little chairs and "read" to themselves.

    dolls and books they cant's live without. Other than that they like to push around cars and push each others megablocks towers over.

    I was thinking about this as a Christmas present.  And great tip about finding them cheaper than retail price <--ouch!

    To the OP - I am in the same boat as you and not sure what they will want next.  My sister got them tricycles for their first birthday but the boys are still too small for them.  But they should work for them in the next few months.

    She got us two of these: Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go Trike

    ETA: ACK!  I just read the review for these little bikes and they are not very good.  I am zero help to you but at least I learned about this now :-/

    I'm getting my hands on Mega Blocks ASAP.  Also want to get Little People.

    Little People sets, Mega Blocks, Doodle pads (the ones that they draw and erase), and the biggest was a play kitchen and the food and cooking stuff to go with it.

    Little People and for sure on Thomas the Train.  O still plays with his trains every day.  Costco actually has a pretty good deal on train tables around X-mas and it's a nice set.  We bought a table on craigslist and turns out it's too small to build any tracks on it except for one circle.  Definitely get one that's a good size or it's only good for storage.
