Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Have you started dressing LO in fall stuff yet?

I just started this week b/c it's been chilly the past couple of days.  Today's high is 74 and it's rainy out so I put him in long knit pants, a short-sleeved shirt, and a hooded zip-up light jacket over.  He looked so cute in his fall attire.

Last weekend I moved all the summer (too small) clothes out and put in all the new fall/winter stuff.  Perfect timing!!!

  • It's been chilly lately here too.  I started washing all of the fall/winter stuff this week.  Yay for jeans and cute sweaters!!!!
  • It's been in the 50's the last 2 mornings when we leave for DC so he's worn a thin hoodie over his T-shirt. That's unseasonable weather for this area in early Sept....I hope it continues!

  • nope it's still hot as hates here. We probably will still be wearing shorts in October!
  • Yes, DS2 has been in pants & a jacket all week here.  We have had some cool mornings/ nights here where it's been in the high 50's to low 60's.  I love this weather!!

  • We've done a few cool-weather outfits. His jeans from last spring still fit, so I'm hoping he gets a growth spurt soon. Otherwise none of the cute 18 mo. stuff I bought is going to work for the fall :(.

  • The temp here has just tanked in the last week, so yes.  He looks so grown up in his little fall jackets though - good god I have a toddler!
  • Yes, last weekend we started. We visited my parents and it was chilly (high of 62) it was nice but not right after 85/90and humid! I love hoodies and you can never have too many! DD does need a good fall type jacket though, so shopping this weekend it is! I bought her some long sleeve shirts when Osh Kosh had that sale buy 1 get 2 free or something like it a while ago. I am a planner or at least try to be.

Your location made me laugh. Before I got to the last word I was trying to figure out where Noneya is located :).

  • we started this week because it's been chilly in the morning. i'm excited too because i bought all these cute outfits in size 12 months, and the shirts already look like they may be too small, so i want her to wear them at least once.

  • Funny timing for this post. I just put the first load of his fall stuff in the wash today. However, I'm operating on wishful thinking bc I live in Houston. It'll probably be too warm for long sleeves here until November. (sigh)

  • Nope.  It's all washed up and ready to wear, though.  I can't wait -- his new fall stuff is super cute!
  • Yes, it's been rather chill here this week so I've had her hoodie on when we go out or today she's got a long sleeve shirt on and leggings & socks.  She don't like sock after being barefoot all summer Crying
  • it's still 90+ degrees here :( It will be awhile even though I have bought a few things already for when it does cool off.
  • I wish I could because I know she is just going to be adorable, but it is still in the 90's here. It doesn't cool off in FL until November usually. I am even having issues deciding what to do for Halloween because I have to keep the heat in mind. She was sweating bad last year and I am not doing that to her again.

  • Yes we have, and we've been loving the weather here in MI. 55-65 degrees and sunny-soooo beautiful! I've gotten DD some new shirts and pants-she debuted them this week.

  • B wore overalls today, but he was in short-sleeves and no shoes under it, because it's not *that* chilly. I think it was mid-to-high-70s. He looks so adorable in them though, I love chillier days because it means he gets to wear them. :p

  • We in the in between stage where its either chilly in the morning, but gets really warm in the afternoon, or its a bit chilly (fall type weather), all day. It's not consistent fall type weather at this point. Since DS goes to a small in home daycare and she can do an outfit change easily, I have been sending him to daycare in cotton long pants and a long sleeve shirt, and packing a summer outfit (romper or shorts/t-shirt) in his diaper bag. Sometimes he comes home in the summer outfit (if it got warm in the afternoon), but if it stays chilly (like it did here yesterday), he'll come home in the fall outfit.
