If you have this carseat, I was reading the owners manual (nice DS is almost 3 months and I finally crack that puppy open..) and it says the padding insert under the babies bottom should be taken out when the baby is 11+ lbs. I think it said "DO NOT use padding if baby is over 11 lbs". When did you take it out?

At his 2 month pedi appt he was 10 lbs 2 oz, which was an almost 4 lb gain and last night I did the oh so technical, weigh myself, then weigh both of us, and it came out to be almost 13 lbs. I know not the most accurate, but I'm sure relatively close +/- 1/2 a lb I'm use.He'll be 3 months next week and his next appt won't be until Oct unless we have to make a trip because of illness, which given he'll be in daycare full time next week, I'm anticipating.
