Dear Baby Brandau,
Hi Lil' Bit!
It's Bump Auntie Danielle, and I have a great big favor to ask. Please, please straighten up shop in there! I promise you, you are doing absolutely every little thing right. We're so proud of your strong heartbeat and growth. Honestly, we talk about it all the time- you are already a celebrity! We all know you are the boss in there, so feel free to make all of the other parts do their job, too. Just tell everything that there will be no more scares or events, and that everything from here on out is going to go accordingly.
I know you're new here, but it's important that you know that your Mommy has been waiting for you for a really long time. There was a lot of sadness before you came about, and I know you're going to be the perfect answer to your Mom's wishes. Remember, Daddy and Scout are taking care of Mom on the outside right now- your job is to stay put and keep things tidy on the inside.
So if anything else tries to act up, you just tell 'em you ain't going NOWHERE until April, and that's gonna be that. We're all here to back you up. Mom will be looking in from time to time, too, just to be see how pretty you already look.
I have every faith belief that you are going to be AMAZING. And remember, you're the boss!!!!!

I like the sentiment. We all hope the best for AB and her baby.
But I do have a question for you. Why don't you do these letters for anyone else? I see many to Scout and AB, but have seen none to anyone else. Where is the "Dear Kona's insurance company get your butts in gear letter", or the "Dear <insert TTCAL+6 screen name here>'s follies get your butt in gear and give them a baby letter"?

Point taken. I wrote a few to Kelin and a couple to some other people. I haven't written any to anyone in a while because of work. I write to Scout because Allison talks about her a lot on here, and my dog Shelby is about the same age, (The letters to Scout are "from Shelby.") It was just supposed to be funny. I suppose I write them to Allison because her story is really similar to mine, and she has reached out to me a lot. None of it was ever meant to be exclusionary or to make anyone feel left out. They take me a long time to write, so sometimes I start them but do not have time to finish them and post a quick love note instead.
Again, it was never meant to make anyone feel left out, and I am sorry if it did.
