I was reading here about wanting to shop for the baby and I went to my registry to look at all the stuff I want and daydream and whatnot.
Then I see that more people bought stuff for my shower on Saturday. I of course can't wait until then, so I take a look and see that there's this weird high chair thing that I've never seen before now on my registry and it's listed that I want one of them... and it says that I'm getting two. O_o
Has anyone else's registries glitched like this? Or am I really getting two of something I don't even want? Here's the item: https://www.target.com/gp/detail.html?asin=B0012VY11A&colid=NDYQB3EGOL1V&coliid=IMZCJY6FSNO7M&bckreg=baby
I wonder if it's randomly on anyone else's registries...
Re: Um... what happened with my Target registry?
That makes sense, but is really weird. Guess I'll have to wait until Saturday and know for sure... unless they had it shipped, then who knows.
That happened to me - Target added a bottle of Woolite (??) that showed had been purchased, but I never added it or received it.
I just deleted it from the list.
The only weird thing that happened with me is I registered at Target for the whale tube and ended up with 4! I only NEEDED/WANTED 1! I could return the other 3 but at my shower there were 4 guests that felt funny that there were duplicates....
Weird!
I looked at my registry after and it showed I requested 1 but got 2....
Strangeness!
This same thing happened to me with my bridal registry at Bed Bath and Beyond.
We got this booster and it's great now that DS is older. It's small enough to take to friend's houses for dinner and such, and it's convenient because it's smaller than a high chair. I'm constantly taking it places, so if you do get one (or two) maybe keep it for when your LO is a bit older.
I'm thinking I'll probably just keep it (or see if it comes in different colors or patterns, since I'm not too big a fan of that one). It's just weird that someone would go out and buy that particular one when I had two other options on my registry (one cheaper and one more expensive).
Oh well! It's definitely the thought that counts, and I'm glad someone even thought to buy the baby something. I just can't wait to find out who bought it.
