DH and I decided to take a last minute vacation to the beach this weekend with Warner. The weather is going to be great and we were feeling guilty about not having taken him to the beach this summer .
DH's parents have a place where we'll be staying at VaBeach, but it's not right by the beach...about a 10 minute drive. We're going to take his wagon, the floaty toy we have for him and some sand toys. Other than snacks, towels, and a change of clean clothes what else should we bring to the beach with us (for him)? (and obviously we'll have sunscreen and his swimsuit)
Re: what to take to the beach?
When we went to the beach a few weeks ago, we had what you describe, as well as a baby pool, a beach blanket, and a beach umbrella (though you can probably rent one). I will say we were on the beach for all of 90 minutes during the entire weekend because of nap times, but you probably won't have that issue.
Have a great time!
A hat and swim diapers if you think he'll be getting wet? We also brought a small umbrella when we went which was nice so that DD wasn't getting too much sun.
Have a great time and a safe trip.
