Halloween...Yay or Nay?

I am only 2 months now, but by the time my friends go to Halloweekend at Cedar Point I will be 4 months. I know I obviously can't ride the coasters, but I wanted to know if it was ok to actually go and walk around the park? I've been before & on a scale of 1-10 it's a 6 on being scary. ?I really just want to walk around and eat elephant ears =] but I've read about the fog being bad and rising blood pressure. I plan on asking my doctor at my next visit; but for now, has anyone ever been to a haunted house while pregnant? What did your doctor say??

Thank you, Muah!!

Re: Halloween...Yay or Nay?

  • I'm not sure if that would be a concern or not. Always best to check with the doctor. If nothing else, you can just tag along and eat elephant ears. Are there other activities you can do like a Hay Maze or pumpkin patch??

  • I'm assuming that it's like Fright Fest at Six Flags? I will be going at 7.5 months pregnant because it's DS's favorite event of the year. I think you should be good at 4 months.

  • As a non professional I think you'll be fine. Your well ventilated at a theme park not trapped inside a tiny fogged room.

  • Totally go and have fun! I went to disney when I was 4 months pregnant with DS and I walked and ate a ton and there was still cool stuff for me to do.
  • Thank you ladies! I feel so much better & those elephant ears are calling my name I know it!! I will definitely take it up the my doctor & I'm so excited now, I know I can ride little rides like transportation rides but it's no biggie not to ride. Thanks again!

I have to ask. What are Elephant Ears?

  • i vote GO!

...elephant ears are some kind of fried fair-type dough, i think..

  • I wouldn't, but I'm not allowed to raise my blood pressure that much or be up that long.

OMG elephant ears are fantastic!  They are big soft donut like things ( but better, cause I don't really eat donuts) covered in cinnamon sugar.
