They need to stop!!

There are these commercials that are playing on our local network tv. One goes- these used to be my pants but I've lost 40 pounds. I didn't do a fad diet and I didn't stop eating" "I breast fed my baby". There's another one that is a mom talking about how smart her daughter is because she chose to breast feed her baby! REALLY?!?! It's not fair and DH finds them rather disturbing, I find that they make me sad that I'm still not KU'd!

    Breastfeeding- it's sponsored WIC of NY State- Women, infants, and children for those on foodstamps and such... I think they save money on subsidizing formula by having poorer mom's breastfeed!

    I can't help but think it's related to the Hollywood baby booms making pregnancy and children suddenly "trendy"

    We have those in radio form down here. There's a breastfeeding song and everything, it's disturbing. It's advertising breastfeeding itself. I change the channel every time, it's so odd!
