Provera question

I have had to take Provera my last two cycles to induce AF.  For my current cycle, I'm now on cd33 (16dpo) and got BFN again this morning.  Is there anyone else out there that consistently has to take Provera and how long do you wait even after BFN?

    If you know for sure that you ovulated (based on u/s and b/w) there is not reason to take provera.  Your period will start.  Provera is only taken if ovulation hasn't occured to trick your body into thinking it has.

    Feb.2012 = Hail Mary IUI #4 = BFN
    April/May 2012 = FET #2 w/our last two embies = BFP (Please let this be it!)
    Beta #1 8dp5/6dt = 234 Beta #2 10dp5/6dt = 695 Beta #3 12dp5/6dt = 1796 Beta #4 17dp5/6dt = 17,888 U/S #1 May 17, 2012 = Twins
    Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
    Our little miracle baby is a boy. :)

    Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

    Yes, I have to take provera or I will not have AF. I would call your RE for b/w to see if you can start another round. GL.

    ETA: do you know for sure you ovulated? Did you have b/w?

    Hmm, I'm not sure why the RE's office said to go ahead and start it now then, according to the u/s I ovulated on cd17 (but they didn't do bloodwork).  I better just wait it out then.  Thanks!  :)

    I would either:

    1.) Wait a few more days

    2.)  Ask for a progesterone check (this will tell you if you ovulated)

    3.)  Ask for prometerium instead of provera.  It is another form of progesterone but it is safe in case you did ovulate/are pregnant where provera is not
