Travel Q: Baby in Shuttle?

I know we've posted about traveling with baby via airplane before, but I don't think anyone touched upon the topic of taking an airport shuttle with the baby? There's usually no seat belts, so how would you make sure LO is safe? I was thinking with no seat belts, it's probably more dangerous to carry them in the car seat...would ergo-ing him be safer? I don't know what is appropriate here. Or should we rent a car and bring our car seat? We'll probably have it with us anyway to use the stroller (we have a travel system). WWYD?

ETA: Btw, we don't need car/taxi to get anywhere else. The only ground transportation we'll need is something to get us between the hotel and airport...

  • Hmm. I'd probably Ergo it. It would also be a lot less cumbersome to wear your baby the entire time vs having them in the car seat, then having to check it with your luggage, etc. (I've never actually done it though, so I could be wrong!)

  • I would say Ergo too...I wore Libby in ours when using the tram at DFW. That said, you might call the shuttle company and ask what their policy is for babies in their shuttles.
