somebody needs to stop me...

from shopping! Seriously we are going to be living in a box in January if I don't stop. I really think I should have had more will power and went team green. I hit the outlet malls yesterday with a friend and was out of control (granted everything was more than 40% off, but still) Today I remembered etsy and now need to shut off the computer. Does anyone else feel like they can't stop picking up non-essentials for their LO? Maybe we can start a support group.

Edit: to show yesterdays damage (I got 0 to 24 month stuff :)

    I hit a few sales of baby clothes pretty hard after finding out we are team pink.  I am just trying to avoid stores at this point.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Hey, outlet malls are fabulous. Don't feel too bad. I understand though. I feel like we need to not shop too much either. We have gotten nearly everything we've bought on sale or clearance, but I still don't want to over do it. I justify it with knowing I won't have a shower, though. :-P It's so funny though-I totally blame DH. He loves doing it. Just this weekend he said "well, this shirt is on clearance...and I really like this one...we haven't bought him anything in awhile."   (more like, it had been a few days. LOL.)

    hahaha, i'm right there with you. take a look at LO's closet already. plus there is an entire bag worth of stuff given to me from my SIL's LO, just sitting on the floor.

    I can't help you, I am having a similar issue and going to Carters during their 70% off sale this weekend did not help!

    I'm headed to the Carters and Gymboree outlet stores this weekend with my mom and aunt so I'm sure I'll be right there with ya! I've been good (sorta) and only buying things that are in the clearance section so that's how I justify it (to DH: "Look sweetie! It was on clearance so it's like I'm actually saving us money!!!"). We'll see how long I can use that to justify purchasing things for our little man!!

     P.S--The pink & gold vests are SUPER cute!!!!

    I'm not buying any clothes until after the shower, and I've stuck to it.I think our LO would appreciate having a crib and diapers, which wouldn't happen if I were loading up on the non-essentials.

    I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. I think it's even harder because we don't have a whole lot of essential stuff to shop for. Just a few big things needed. I also have Aiden covered through 24 months so I can't shop for him anymore either.
