s/o Cider - One good thing about not being pregnant

To try to make light of our situation. Last year I could not drink the best cider in the world because it wasn't pasteurized. I can go grab a big ol' gallon of it now and drink it all up. YUM! Cider mill here I come!!

    Unpasteurized is definitely the way to go, but I like to ferment it and drink it alcoholic, too :)

    Mmmm, DH makes a killer alcoholic cider, along with a fall sangria. I can't wait for both of them!

    I am so with you.  I'm going to Maine in a few weeks and I would have been in the beginning of my first trimester at the time.  I was dreading our trips to the apple orchards because I'd have to resist that wonderful unpasteurized cider (which is like crack to me).  We just don't get cider like that in Texas, so I'm looking forward to the fact that I can drink as much of it as I like!  At least something good came out of this situation.

    Mmm cider. Can't beat the unpasteurized stuff either. And hard cider... well its tough to top that. I think I need some cider now. Mmm...

    I was just thinking this the other day.  Our local apple orchard makes a slushie out of the cider.
