I'm working with DS this weekend (his teachers said they think he is ready for PT'ing so I'm excited, I was hoping he was but waited until they saw the improvement at school). So I think I'm prepared, but how do I protect the carseat just in case? Piddle pads make him so hot (his hiney sweats with those) so should I use a towel? An old receiving blanket? I'm not sure what my best option is but I want something easily washable but that will save me from having to take apart the carseat and wash it. What have you used or did you purchase something specific?

Re: How to protect carseat from accidents?
Haha I just came here to post something similar. In my case, the Piddle Pad actually did NOT work so i'm super p!ssed (haha) as I had a false sense of protection. My carseat cover is still drying from the accident a couple days ago
I was thinking of using one of my regular ole waterproof lap pads that I use on DS' changing table? I don't know what else to do!
Someone responded to another similar post I made and she suggested puppy pads. I think I'll do that from now on because we have a whole pack leftover from when I was pg and thought my water would break while driving (lol).
I do like how the piddle pads look in the seats but if they aren't going to work then screw that. (yes, I'm bitter lol). I don't trust a receiving blanket holding it all, tbh. Do you know of these lap pads I mention? They could really work, too, and Gerber makes them so they're cheap. I'd just go order online at Diapers.com or Amazon and buy things you need to satisfy thier minimum-for-free-shipping!
