OBGYN NOT w/Westchester Med

I am looking for a recommendation for a female OBGYN in southern Westchester who is not affiliated with the Westchester Medical Group.

I was a patient of Dr. Kanganis in Bronxville but she stopped delivering babies a few years ago so I switched but my friend went to her the other day told me she's going back to delivering babies - sad for me since I now love my new drs in Northern West but I really love Dr. Kanganis! I was her patient for 14 years but I will warn you that sometimes you have to wait when you go in for an appt. but I didn't mind b/c I really liked her. Her number is 914-771-9441. gl!

I went to Dr. Kanganis once and would never go back. My DD was a surprise - I was on BCPs which I took faithfully everyday. But as adult women we all know nothing is 100%. She looked at me like I was completely nuts when I gave her my history. Said never in her practice had she heard of that happening. Gotta say, I got dressed and left. Then a year later someone from her office staff called to make my PP visit. Um, considering at that point i was about 9 YEARS PP I think they were mistaken. The women kept insisting it was me she was supposed to call. Didn't really instill much faith in their office for me.

I cannot remember her name, but I've heard there's a fabulous female OB/GYN with Westchester Health Associates. They have offices in Mt. Kisco, Katonah, and I think Brewster. Just call and ask for the female OB and they should connect you. Smile

I'm part of Mount Kisco Medical Group. They're with Northern Westchester. I know a few people who go there and we all love them. Except Dr. Lederman. He can be very harsh sometimes.
