Burying head in chest/shoulder?

Does anyone else have a LO that does this? My LO will bury his head into my shoulder or chest, covering his nose and mouth. I worry that he can't breath like this, but he acts like he's most comfortable when he does this.

my little one does it... she can breathe, i can feel it. hey, if she's comfortable and it keeps her quiet, i'm all for it.

All the time. She goes face down in my cleavage a lot. And her current favorite spot is my armpit. I don't get it, but if she's happy, oh well. She can breathe.

I know he can breathe lol I'm just paranoid about anything covering his face.

A lot of babies do this. It's their way of saying that they are overstimulated and just want some quiet/sleep time. Mommy's warm chest is the safest place they know.

Mine is doing that as I type this...with his binky in! It kinda hurts! I guess it reminds him of being in the womb, all snug and tight.

yep. she often angles her body and buries her head in the blanket that is under her and in the crook of my arm as i hold her. and when she lays on my husband's chest, she often inches up to be right in under his chin, in his neck.
