In advance, I'm not asking if I am pregnant or not, just want to see if this has happened to someone.
So I missed my second period in a row on the 2nd, so I took a test this morning, First Responce to be exact. And almost right away I start thinking I see the second line showing up... But even after waiting a few minutes all that showed up was like a third of the line. How does that even make sense? I'm assuming it's a faulty test?

I don't think it would be an evap line, because it showed up almost right away, after the control line, plus it's pink.. strange, strange, strange...

can you post pictures? It sounds to me like it is a bfp but I can't be sure without looking at it. My suggestion, Go to the dollar tree (if you have one around you) and buy one of their tests. They are only a buck and then if you have to take 100 of them it wont really matter. you will keep wondering until you take another test anyway.

So why don't you just take a digital test if you have missed two periods in a row?

My line was very faint 2 weeks ago and I am only 5 weeks 4 days now. I swore I was delusional or making it up in my head because it was so faint I was twisting and turning it. I spent over $100 on different brands of pregnancy tests, and when I found that I was "delusional" on every one that is when I decided that I knew I was pregnant. I then went and had a blood test done. Confirmed.

I haven't taken a digital test because I took a test after I missed the first one and it was negative, and I took the other today, because I was expecting a negative anyway. I came off BC in February, and my cycle was long once since then, so I figured that was what was happening again. I was just trying not to think too much into it.. But a digital would be a good idea I suppose.

Yeah I could go grab a couple from there, it's just called the dollar store up here haha.

And just to clarify, it's only a third of the line vertically, not width wise.

Are your periods always irregular? Before I became pregnant it would be a couple months between my periods. I eventually went to a fertility doctor and got put on Clomid.

However...when I did become pregnant I took a test 1 day before my period was due and the line was SOOOO light I thought it was just my imagination, but it turns out I actually was preg. I would suggest going to your doctor and getting a blood test so you can find out for sure! Good Luck!!

No, they are usually very regular, almost to the time they start. But like I said, I had a long cycle once since I came off the pill in February, so that's why I wasn't looking too much into it. Figured my cycle was just trying to regulate itself again.
