Cooking with wine
I have a recipe for a meal that I would like to try but it says it uses sherry wine...I have heard the alchohol burns off...anyone know for sure?

It depends how long and how hot you cook the sherry.
But some wine in a recipe isn't worth the worry, if you're concerned about alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
If you're adamant about no booze, alcohol-free sherry's are available at the supermarket, but you'll sacrifice flavor and risk deflating the dish.
