A couple of my girlfriends and I were discussing this at the gym today, so I thought I'd bring it to The Bump (of course) and see what all the "cool" ladies are doing!

Why is there not a choice for being vajazzled? I feel left out.
I kid, I kid, but I am a special snowflake. I was completely bare for as long as I can remember. About 2 months ago, I decided that I wanted a little bit of hair so I grew a somewhat thin line that stays very neat and trimmed.
Wow, I'm surprised how many of you are completely bare. I tried that for awhile but it's too high maintenance for me. Gets itchy after just a couple days!

I was just thinking that! I tried to go bare because DH really like it but I found it to be really uncomfortable. How do you ladies do it? Are there any tricks?

Agreed. I want to do laser hair removal but I haven't had time time to research it (says the girl who JUST went back to work after having the summer off...)

The only trick I found is wax, don't shave. I've never gotten itchy or uncomfortable when waxing.

An epilator. Rips the hair out at the root without the mess of wax. There is no way I could ever shave because the regrowth would be awful - there is no itching when you take the hair out at the root. And a bonus is that it grows back much thinner and finer. Hurts like a ***, yes, but you get numb to it after the first minute or so.
...I voted trimmed though because I alternate between bare and trimmed depending on how motivated I am.

This is me too. I actually tried to go for a shape last time I shaved because I thought DH would be amused but I f*cked it up so landing strip it was.

I got laser on my bikini line, so I don't have to do much with that area. As for the rest, I just shave every few days. I'm lasered under my arms and lower half of my legs too, so there's not too much work!

I swear by Coochy Shave Cream. I buy it from Hustler now (you can order it online) but I originally got it from one of those sex parties. I have used it for over 2 years and very rarely do I itch anymore.

If you don't mind sharing, approx. how much was your bikini line?

It really depends on what part of the country you are in. I got a quote 2 weeks ago for my bikini line, upper lip and under arms for $800 but that was with a special promotion.

No tricks, just keep at it. I have been bare for about 8 years now, and at first it was itchy growing back. It doesn't bother me at all anymore though. And I second PP about Coochy...it really does help! But, for the most part I can just shave with regular ol' soap these days!

I was thinking of looking into this but holy cow thats expensive. I guess it's probably cheaper than years of razors and shaving cream but still... wow.
I don't have the patience for any of this! (I also only get my nails done once in a very blue moon, and have been averaging a haircut every year. I do, however, wear make-up every day...go figure!)
I will be the one to admit that I am a wild-and-free girl! Sometimes I tame it down in the summer, but mostly I just can't be bothered. Doesn't bother me or DH.
Only down below though...I can't do the armpit hair, and my legs are always shaved if they're showing, though I've been known to get a little spiky in the winter.

It just means, none of the above. Like, I'm as special and unique as a snowflake and I cannot fit into a category!

I agree! Yes, it is expensive and yes, it hurts like a MFer sometimes. But in the end, it is so worth it.
I've been waxing for about 3 years and my re-growth is super slow.
