How many children to you ultimately want?

DH and I were talking about this last night -

He ultimately would like 2 children, whereas I would prefer 3-4 myself. I come from a larger extended family, and love it. But I only have 1 younger brother myself, and always thought it was kind of lonely. This will be our 1st, so s/he will be the big sister or brother to the rest (however many that ends up being).

I want 3. I thought I would have 2 by now though so who knows what will happen. Once this baby is about a year we will start trying again. I would wait longer but I feel like it will probably take a year to conceive anyway.

DH and I want 4 and if this baby sticks, it'll be baby #2. If we go for more, we'll probably be waiting a while before trying again.

This baby will be our 4th (my 2nd, he has two children from a previous marriage) and ultimately we want to have 5 or 6 children. So, Bun is a middle child.

I'm thinking 2 but I know my DH really wants a boy so if we had 2 girls first they may change. This LO is coming at a good time...wish I had a few more years in at work first but I wasn't getting any younger so we decided to start trying knowing it could take a while...and we got pregnant on cycle number 2.

We have a dd that will be 2 in Nov. i thought that I always wanted 3, but i want to stay pg with #2 before I make any more decisions, LOL.

We want 2 kids for a variety of reasons. This will be our first and right now I'm not even thinking about a 2nd one just yet. I am a huge planner, so depending on how things go with the first,we may try when our first is 1 1/2 years or so.

We want a lot. I have 5 brothers and a sister and DH is one of 10 so we both have always wanted a big family of our own. We have talked about 6-8 but we will see. If this baby sticks it will be our first.

This is number one for us. I always said 2 and DH said 3 but now that I am pregnant I can see three. We went and looked at a house today that only had 3 bedrooms and DH was like well we can stay here for a few years unilt we get pregnant with #3.

Two. I wanted 3 originally but DH wants 2 so we are going with that. I have 4 sisters, he has 4 siblings, he just doesn't want a ton of kids.

God willing, this one will be #2.

DH only wants two, but I think he'll be open to the idea of more as long as we have more of an age gap between #2 and #3.

I would love 3 or 4!!! But I'm not sure. This is lo #2 for us. We always said we would decide as we go. Nothing is set in stone!

Personally, I just can't feel like this is my last time to experience all of this. I want to do it over again at least one more time!

This baby will (hopefully) be #1 for us. It may be the one and only. We go back and forth between having 1 or 2 children. If we go for 2, we'll try pretty soon after this one is born.

One or two at most. I want to be able to raise my children the way my parents raised my brother and I, and we wouldn't be able to do it with more than 2 kids.

2 or 3...depending on what the sex's are after 2. If we have 2 of the same sex, we'll go for a third.

This is # 3 for us and he/she will forever be the baby. I told my husband if it's another girl, he will just have to borrow someone else boy. LOL. Who knows.. I may change my mind in 2 or 3 years. When my second DD was born I said no more for months, but I couldn't get over this over whelming feeling that someone was missing EVERYtime we sat down to eat at the table..weird, I know

Before our first loss, DH and I wanted 3 kids. Now? Well, we'd be OK with 4. We decided to re-evaluate our family after each kid and not make any concrete decisions.

I've always wanted at least 3, DH on the other hand is fine with 2... We said we'll see if the first 2 are both girls/boys, then we'll try again for a different sex... We'll see! Most likely i'll get what I want! :P
