DD has been 100% PT at home for about 4 days. She asks every time, and hasn't had an accident in 4 days.
At church, she peed in her Pull Up (only use those for these types of situations). Freaked out when they tried to take her potty there. When we run errands, she usually just holds it til we get home. Will potty at grandma's houses no problem.
She just started MDO today (in a Pull Up), and didn't use the potty there. Came home in a new Pull Up, and was wet when I woke her from her nap when we picked her up.
How long do you think it will take before she will be comfortable enough to go there for them? I am not buying Pull Ups forever! They are the devil!
Re: PT success at school??
i would give her a couple of weeks to adjust to being in a new school, using the potty there, new teachers, new kids type thing.
then work with the teacher to work with her on getting her to the potty.
or if you feel she has had plenty of time, express to the teacher that she is using the potty fine everywhere else and you would LOVE to get her out of pullups at dcp and ask what the plan is.
I do this, or try. But she won't go yet on demand. It is so very much ONLY when she wants/needs to go. And her teachers take her, but she is terrified currently of any potty that isn't hers. Again, she doesn't go on demand yet either.
I think I will give it a month, and then talk to the teachers about being a bit more aggressive with it.
