TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

*Court* (and anyone else with Clomid crazies)

Seriously, it was making me insane.  I have been getting in to these periods where all I will do is cry ALL day, and just feel miserable and alone and awful.  All my friends want me to go to counseling, and even DH suggested it - everyone thinks I've lost my mind.

So, I went back and compared on the calendar the days I've felt the worst and the days I've been on Clomid... and they line up perfectly.  This is insane.

I told my RE about it this morning and he was like "it's definitely not supposed to do that or be that severe, those side effects alone are worth looking in to another treatment option."

I mean, I knew to expect the "Clomid crazies" but I definitely wasn't expecting it to be that severe.  Yikes.

  • I had side effects with clomid but I don't really remember if I was depressed alot. I think it's more I was worried it would not work after the years of trying, so my depression was already at a new low.

  • You poor thing!  I'd definitely want to switch meds if I were you.

Yeah, I felt really nutso last week & it's getting better now.  I would cry at the drop of a hat & I was a huge mega b$tch to everyone (more than normal Wink).

Right now I'm just crossing my fingers super tightly & hoping that I'm one of the lucky ones who only has to take it one cycle......highly unlikely since I don't seem to fall into the "lucky" category very often lately.

  • By the second round of clomid I noticed that the week before AF reared her ugly head that my typical moodiness during that time had intensifed dramatically...  (((hugs)))) Im sorry that you had to experience that affect.
  • After a couple months on Clomid, I could give my DH "warning" on what days I was going to be super sensitive and grouchy.  It was awful.  I knew I would being unreasonable, but I couldn't do a think about it.  I hate Clomid
