How much does your 3 week old eat and how often?

I am pumping and breast feeding and supplementing with formula. Lo is not the best breast feeder. We have had some weight gain issues so I have to tweak amount and schedule a lot. Just wondering what others are doing? thx

    I'm not sure how much she was eating because I was BF at the time.  But, I will say that she was eating all.the.time.  I was BF her every 2-3 hours for at least 30 min a time.

    At three weeks my LO was at 3-4 oz. If she seemed hungry after that, I would give her more at an extra ounce at a time. I've been doing the same route as you, breastfeed, pump and formula. My supply has really increased though, now that I'm mostly breastfeeding, so I'm not 100% sure on how much she's getting, but she acts full when she's done and she has plenty of wet diapers! This would apply to your LO as well, as long as they're getting plenty of wet diapers, then they're getting enough!

    X was BF'ing ALL.THE.TIME., it was only last week so the memory is fresh. lol. Sometimes he'd go a few hours, sometimes it was every hour. Sigh. My nips hurt so bad last week, lol. They're now recovering.
