I cannot make it through a day without at least an hour nap. The weekends are nice because I can nap mid-day and then have enough energy for the evening but I'm pretty worthless through the week since I don't get my nap until after work
Yes, I am exhausted all of the time. I need a nap right around mid day - 2:00 p.m. Yesterday I was off work and I did nothing and still needed a nap and then was in bed by 9:30 p.m.
I have been so tired. I feel like Ive taken sleep meds or something. I have some good news though, I just turned 10 weeks, and as soon as I did my energy came back. I was needing 9 hours of sleep at night just to be able to function at all, now im back to only needing about 6 hours of sleep, and having plenty of energy, and even started working out again. I dont know how far along you are, but hopefully you'll feel better soon.
It hit me hard yesterday. I laid on the couch all day until I had to go to a photo shoot (I'm a photographer) then I came home and reclaimed my spot on the couch. It takes so much effort to even have a conversation with people. What I really want to do is lay down and stare at some mindless TV for a while...kind of hard to do witha 2.5 year old and a full time job
Naps are becoming my favorite time of day...on days i dont have school i literally find a pillow a blanket some juice and the tv remote.... in the morning ill sleep for an hour extra and in the afternoons i just relax and its almost like a nap i usually go to bed around 9ish 10ish.
10 weeks is only half a day away ... i PRAY that ill be the samee
Best part of getting home from work is the 2-3 hour nap I take before DH comes home I was off yesterday, woke up at 9:30, went to brunch and then came home to take a 2 hour nap at noon. I refused to take another nap yesterday, but I totally could have.
Mine goes in spurts. Sometimes I just can't get out of bed, others I feel just fine. I do find that work wears me out a lot more now, and that I NEEEEEED my nap when I get home.
It's so deceiving too. Yesterday we went for dim sum and then went to the mall right afterward so that I could look at some shirts. I seriously wanted to pass out in the middle of the mall. My energy that I had was sucked away. Like everyone, weekdays are hard because of work. I feel like a zombie just trying to get by.
I am constantly tired. I can take a 2hr nap mid day and I will still get sleepy around 9:30 - 10PM. Bugs my hubby but he understands. The one good thing about not working is I get the luxury of taking naps during the afternoon. I have not napped during the weekends because we are always on the go.
I say push your body as much as you can but be easy on yourself and take breaks to rest. When you can take naps. Good luck and congrats!

Actually most pregnancy books and my Dr said to rest as often as you need to. Obviously naps aren't always possible, but take it easy when you can. Growing a baby is a tiring process
i do it for the joy it brings, because i'm a joyful girl, because the world owes me nothing, and we owe each other the world - ani d.
