In perfect health. No issues. The fact that he stands on his own and takes steps wow'd her. Definitely not ordinary for his age.
We're good to try shellfish, nuts, peanut butter, eggs, and products with honey (i.e. graham crackers) but not pure honey yet. 4 day wait rule still applies.
The pedi told me not to worry about shoes. They are only foot protecters and only necessary when he's walking around outside. So we won't need them until next spring because I don't let him walk around outside yet.
1st dose of the flu shot is next month. It will contain the H1N2 stain.
No need to limit the amount of breast milk or food he consumes. She said if he wants to take 40oz of milk and still eat a good amount of food, by no means should I stop him. We'll only limit his milk consumption to 24oz when he drinks cow's milk.
Those are all of the highlights that I can remember other than the answers I received to my (long) list of paranoid/concerned mommy questions.
Re: Colin's 9m stats and appointment details
Sounds great. I just scheduled our 9 month today for 2 weeks from now. DS is letting go of things now and walking 5-6 feet. He can get on his feet without pulling up, but still needs something to put his hand on for balance.
I'm scared to death of having a toddler. Feeding a baby is so easy. Now that he is eating more "real food" I can't be lazy anymore. I am not looking forward to introducing the common allergens either.
