Babies: 9 - 12 Months

A Farrah moment....

I learned a lesson....after watching that episode when she left Sophia on the bed alone....I did that today and DD fell off!  Flame me...I know!  I felt horrible and cried and called the doc right away then told DH and he yelled at me and made me feel worse.  She cried for a few seconds then smiled!! I had to share this learning experience...

Re: A Farrah moment....

  • um, if cameras followed me around all day, my entire life would look like a Farrah moment.  A few weeks ago I turned around and saw that the dog had pooped on the floor and DS was eating it.

We all do stuff like that sometimes.  Don't sweat it.  I can't believe your DH yelled at you!  I wouldn't even have told mine... lol

  • There's many people who have done the same thing, me included.  I now know that she is too mobile to turn my back on her for even a second.
  • Thanks for making me feel better....I spoke with my SIL and she reassured me too...and she'll fall again someday!  I'm glad I'm not the only Farrah!!
  • We all have them! I'm glad there are no cameras following me! :)

  • I won't flame you-I'll just say that I'm surprised it's taken you this long! My DS has fallen off the bed (months ago), couch, and I even caught him eating a rawhide bone since the dog likes to share his toys with him. LOL. I have bad parenting moments on a daily basis.

  • Don't feel bad, it happens a lot more often than you think.  My DS fell of the bed around 6 months and I felt horrible. I learned my lesson.  The nurse in the ER was being a little mean, but my Doctor said that same thing happened to her first baby.  No one is perfect, don't beat yourself up over it.
  • Congratulations! On making it this long! My DS fell off the couch about 2 months ago and from then on, it's been down hill with him climbing and falling off of EVERYTHING! I even took him to the ER the first time and the Dr was so nice and didn't make me feel bad at all for being the overreacting first time mom. Since then, it's been hugs, kisses and ice to make him feel better. GL! It will happen again.
