Sizes 24 months and 2T. I thought there would be no way they'd be ready to wear those sizes yet since they wear all 18 months right now. No, it turns out that, while some of it is still a little big and/or long, they can wear 2T just fine already.
I don't think I'll be telling DH about this anytime soon since he's already freaking out about how big they look in pictures.
The good news is that Nathan is completely set for winter except for needing a couple more pairs of shoes and some socks. He's gotten so much stuff from the son of a friend of mine. He even has a pair of Land's End snow boots that have never been worn and more jackets than he'll probably wear! Even Riley is pretty much set for pants since a lot of the jeans were very gender neutral in design. Yay for free hand-me-downs!
Re: I just sorted out their winter clothes
The shirts didn't surprise me very much. The fact that the pants and jackets fit too? Shocked the hell out of me. They just look so HUGE when you hold them up compared to their 18 month pants and jackets.
That's great!
I haven't even started to think about fall clothes for Gabe yet. Some of his 18 month stuff fits great and in other stuff 24 months fits too. I have no idea when we'll be needing clothes for cooler weather or what size he'll be in then.
I did score a very cute set of cords and a long sleeve shirt today at Once Upon a Child for when we go to OH for my sister's wedding in October. $11 for the whole outfit and I can use it for his Christmas pictures too!

DH accidentally ordered Seb a 3T shirt instead of 2T the other day, and it FIT. I was so surprised. And sad. lol.
Gavin is tall but he has thinned out again (he goes through phases where he plumps up and then gets taller and things out again, LOL, and also has a tendancy to switch mid season). So a lot of his jeans that he wore in the spring will fit him until at least Christmas I think (some of those are still 12 months! but they were long even on him).
He started fitting his 18 mos summer stuff about halfway through the season, so I think I will be buying both 18 and 24 months stuff this year.
