Re: resources...

  • Best advice and please listen to it.....stay off most websites. Here you get advice and friends but most others can just scare you or even make you feel worse. If you are worried call your doctor right away. GL

  • I just feel like i'm missing a connection with my LO, I am EBF and am with her 24/7 (have left her 3x for college classes and didn't miss her) did feel bad for DH and MIL knowning she was going to be screaming while I was gone b/c the only thing the calms her is nursing. I don't regret nursing her and feel bad when she's angry/crys. But I noticed today when look at pictures of her- everyone keeps tell me she looks 100% like DH but I don't see it at all- I don't see either of us, and I kiss her and play with her and what not but I just don't feel like she's "mine" haven't since she was born... I would NEVER do anything to hurt her and have her well being in hand but I just feel idk off....

  • It really does sound like PPD then, and Im saying that because those were the ways I felt. And the detachment was the worst. Still have that and my therapist says its normal and that it takes time to build relationships. And she is knew to you in theory. Just talk to your doctor. and soon. You do love her its just cloudy. It happens.....sucks but its going to get better
