The perfect storm :/

Figures that everything "tough" happens at once. Riley's AR has been acting up all weekend, which is crazy because it's been so controlled for a while now! She has pretty much screamed at every bottle all weekend, and doesn't want to take one from anyone but me.

She is also definitely going through the four month wakeful. She usually sleeps for 11 hours (i know, i know) and the past few nights has been getting up every two hours wanting to eat and play.

To top it all off, I go back to work tomorrow!! And I have to leave her at daycare for the first time. So I know tomorrow I will be running on no sleep, and fighting back tears all day from leaving her!! Not fun :(

    Totally random but my friends LO has reflux and she went through a few days of LO screaming at the bottle.  She thought it was the reflux flaring up but it turned out LO was ready for the next flow nipple.  She was screaming because she was frustrated that the flow was too slow!

    Hmm really? I tried a faster flow last week and it went everywhere but her mouth and she was gagging on it. Maybe she's suddenly ready? Thanks for the tip!

    Oh no...I'm so sorry to hear that, Melissa.  We're going through what we're pretty sure is the 4-month wakeful and it's been exhausting.  I hope you're able to get some rest soon.  Good luck with going back to work tomorrow...one consolation is that your daycare sounds like it's worked out for the better.  Just get through tomorrow - it get easier every day after that.
