While he suffered a serious bout of puppy-rainbow-glitter diarrhea, just after he blew a unicorn. There isn't a single one that isn't gushing about how babies are so amazing, the best thing you'll ever do, they will change your life, you've never known love until now, there's nothing better/sweeter/more uplifting/insert-cliched-superlative-here. Barfbarfbarf.
So I did what any good little hab ab would do. I got a package of really pretty blank note cards. Fvck you, baby aisle, for making me feel completely broken and worthless and incomplete. I'm making my own goddaamn baby cards, fvckyouverymuch.
Now I'm off to wrap the SIX baby shower or baby's 1st bday gifts I bought today and finish cake balls for the shower tomorrow.
(And yes, I am running for living canonization and I'm not shy about letting y'all know that)
Re: The baby card aisle was made by Satan
Glad you made it out of there alive
For the last year I have been a mega fan of blank cards with pictures of cute dogs, appropriate for any occasion really.
I think "Saint Colinda" has a nice ring to it!!
Seriously, I don't know how you still have a sense of humour after a day like that. hugs.

I seriously love you! That phrase made my night. Girl, get you some of these cards. They come in a pack of like, 50. You can get fun colored ones and they go on sale a lot. It saves so much $$$ on cards, they're pretty, and no hassle picking any out! I like the little tiny ones, less room to write a heartfelt message I can't think of.
The company that made the "WTF GOD" card that Allison has in the sidebar of her blog has a line of mom-themed cards.
They kinda rock.
But yeah, I hate the baby card aisle too. Blech.

Lame.
You're talking to someone who threw a full on temper tantrum in the baby card aisle after a loss. The sales ladies were huddling behind the counter in terror.
Ah, OSB. Always a sweetheart. May your nursing child cut teeth at 6 weeks.
