I was at the park and a lady told me to dip a wash cloth in pickle juice for DD's gums for teething....she swore by this method...something to do with the salt. Anyone ever hear or try this?
Never heard of that one. But when we were little my Grandma would have us drink a little pickle juice with dinner because she said it did wonders for your health. She lived until she was 90 years old, so maybe she was on to something...
What is it with gramma's and pickles?! My great gramma put a pickle on her hand anytime it got a little burn on it from cooking. It makes sense to me now (vinegar taking the sting out), but when I was a kid I thought that she was coo-coo.
